The idea that this way of knowing is rooted in trust in God's wisdom and good intentions implicitly suggests that it is based on God's proximity to primeval humanity, a reading supported by the various exchanges between God and Adam in chapter 2.
If Divine goodness and love are universal, we should expect God's wisdom to guide us to harmony, beauty and peace and to keep us safe.
Now, all of this--scripture, the sense of the divine in humans, and the manifestation of God and God's wisdom in the world--needs to be interpreted and made use of if we are to live appropriately in relation to God, or to praise God in the midst of our interactions with objects and others.
