In November 2003, Helen competed for GB athletics alongside Paula Radcliffe in the International Chiba Ekiden Road Relay in Japan and her travels in the England vest have taken her to events like the Belgian International Cross Country Cup and the Gotheburg Half Marathon.
The parade through the streets brought memories flooding back of the huge street party the Scots and Dutch supporters enjoyed in Gotheburg during the last European Championships in 1992.
We have an important European tie in Gotheburg coming up next week and I don't want any more injuries.
