IGR Porto Grange claims block encompasses 55,000 hectares (135,000 acres) within the Vila Nova- Serra do Navio greenstones of Paleo-Proterozoic age in the southeast part of the Guiana Shield. The Bogoin II Permit is located 70 km north-northwest of the capital city Bangui and covers a 55 km strike length of the Bogoin greenstone belt, representing 70% of the exposed greenstones within the belt. The table below details the results of the trenching program which was carried out on 50 metre centres over 300 metres of the anomaly and which has identified two mineralised shear zones that dip to the northwest, comprising intercalated Banded Ironstone Formation and silicified greenstones. |
