Gru·dziadz  (grts)
A city of north-central Poland on the Vistula River northeast of Bydgoszcz. Founded by the Teutonic Knights, it passed to Poland in 1466 and was ruled by Prussia from 1772 to 1919. Population: 99,300.

Staszek, a 28-year-old who rides for the Grudziadz club in Poland, was refused permission to board a flight from Sweden to England on Wednesday morning because his passport was out of date.
And while it promises to be a difficult test, Givens is hoping to add to his record nine game unbeaten run when they meet the Poles in Grudziadz.
