The late John Gardner termed this a "Penny Gumball Machine" belief--that is, a coin inserted at the top produces gumballs at the bottom.
Then one day he stumbled upon a unique talking gumball machine in a US magazine.
A quick salute, only, to the alluring gumball machine, accompanied by fat red, yellow, blue, and green dots, and the street musician's violin case lying open on the sidewalk, for coins, a study in blue (for his jeans), and red (for the lining).
