Ros Matthews was another to set a new best time for the half-marathon when she ran the 12-mile plus race at Wissey in Norfolk, clocking a superb 1hr 45mins 30secs in finishing 115th.
The annual half-marathon event, organised by Barnardo's Cymru, is the largest road race in Wales and attracted almost 8,000 runners last year, many of whom raise funds for good causes.
