Last month saw the first production-scale trial of compounding a nanocomposite using specially treated halloysite clay nanotubes.

Naturalnano has patents pending on the process to extract and classify halloysite tubes, which range from 1 to 40 microns long and have inner diameters of 20 to 50 nm.
