This band teams Waghorn with Hammond organ rumbler Jean Paul Gard and drummer Eddy John, promising an urgent delivery of 1960s-style soul/boogaloo grooving.
They have always been known for the driving Hammond organ of their frontman but, in the early 1990s, the band changed direction and released a string of song-based albums to appeal to the then fashionable Soul and Acid Jazz scene in the UK.
But next Friday evening you will find a very different kind of organist in the cathedral - one who is better known for standing over an electric Hammond organ and for much of his musical career has been more accustomed to playing to whole stadia of rock fans with one of the loudest rock bands in the world.
