The Spread Spiritual Consciousness event on Saturday has been inspired by George Harrison, whose 1970 song My Sweet Lord introduced millions to the Hare Krishna mantra.
He once chanted the Hare Krishna mantra for 23 hours during a drive through Europe and for two hours on a flight as it bumped its way through an electrical storm.
He produced Hare Krishna Mantra for the Radha Krishna Temple, a top 20 track released on the Beatles' Apple label in 1969.
