Trigh na Beirigh was one of many seemingly undiscovered beaches that my wife Jayne and I visited on the Hebridean isles of Lewis and Harris during four days of unbroken sunshine in May.
The women, who do not wish to be identified, are crew on board the Hebridean Isles ferry.
A new MORI poll conducted for BBC Scotland's Gaelic community series, Cunntas, shows that 62 per cent of people on the Hebridean isles of Lewis and Harris favour the introduction of ferry and air services on the Sabbath.
