Halfway between the castle and Holyrood Abbey is St Giles' Cathedral, the historic High Kirk of Edinburgh which dominates the skyline of the Royal Mile despite its relatively bland 'restoration' in 1872.
Also called the High Kirk of Glasgow, this magnificent building is a Church of Scotland cathedral.
Last week, after paint attacks, members of High Kirk Presbyterian Church in Ballymena scrubbed the paint from Harryville Church.
