Matt Limacher (Onimpex-BioRacer) and Anthony Farrell (Alf Jones Cycles) won the Rhyl CC and Rhos-On-Sea CC hill climbs at Rhuallt and Llanrwst respectively, both achieving personal bests.
His fitness from a season of road racing in France and an intensive fourweek build-up of 12 hill climbs came through, however, as he moved up the order from tenth place at the midway split to finish a superb third.
