Johnny Mercer collaborated with many other great songwriters including Hoagy Carmichael (Lazybones and Skylark), Harold Arlen (Blues in the Night, That Old Black Magic) and Duke Ellington (Satin Doll).
Mercer wrote more than 1,000 of America's most memorable songs in collaboration with well-known composers such as Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Arlen, Jerome Kern, Harry Warren, Henry Mancini and others.
Making this a real family affair was Lynn's husband Thom Meredith, principal of Kirklees Music School, here in the role of tenor soloist, singing everything from the stylish work of Hoagy Carmichael to the laughter of My Lawn by Instant Sunshine.
