We start with the hongi, the nose-to-nose greeting while shaking hands and saying "kia ora", which translates literally as "good health" but "hello" pretty much covers it.
Regimentals were worn by Ruatara, Korokoro and Hongi Hika at the Christmas Day service, and were noted by the men recording the events.
