Established from Hot Springs Reservation, this park is a United States National Park in central Arkansas adjacent to the city of Hot Springs.
In 1921, the Hot Springs Reservation was rolled officially into the fledgling National Park Service as the country's 18th national park.
Besides, he said, Hot Springs Reservation was created in 1832; and while it wasn't the first official National Park, it was the first designated area in the National Park system.
