Hot springs have great astrobiological significance, as the closest relatives of many of the most ancient organisms on Earth can thrive in and around hydrothermal springs.
It has a good infrastructure, moderate continental climate, a 17m wide beach, 12 hydrothermal springs, balneological and cultural center, and fast developing seaside.
Now, a team of evolutionary biologists suggests how clay--perhaps near hydrothermal springs on the ocean floor-may have spurred the formation of these early cells.
