| INPEX discovered the large Ichthys gascondensate field through a drilling campaign it carried out in WA-285-P during 2000-01. To cite one example, the discussion of the frequent use of the image of the fish goes beyond the obvious explanation of the acronym by which the Greek word ichthys stands for "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior. Bail bondsmen, fire-extinguisher salesmen and others have been allowed to use the Christian fish symbol - ichthys - as a way to attract customers. |
