Egyptian architect, astrologer, and physician. He was the architect of the funeral complex at Saqqara, consisting of a huge stepped pyramid, a processional hall, and other buildings.

The find was made at Gisr al-Moudir, west of Egypt's first ever pyramid at Saqqara, the step pyramid of Djoser built by architect Imhotep in around 2,700 BC, the ministry said in a statement.
It claims that the Near Eastern civilizations arose at the same times as those of China and the New World in the wake of Noah's Flood at around 3300 BC and that famed Egyptian chancellor to the Pharoah Djoser, Imhotep, was in fact one and the same as the biblical Joseph, son of Jacob, among other novel arguments.
Afterward, the mummy will be displayed at Saqqara's museum of Imhotep, the famed architect who designed the Stepped Pyramid.
