The extreme anti-Israeli slogans of Iran have not prevented it from engaging, quietly, in business with Israel, and not only in the Irangate affair.
I think it has more to do with problems like Watergate, Irangate and campaign finance abuses.
Teapot Dome provides a stark contrast with recent major scandals, such as Irangate or Watergate, or even Filegate.
