It contains (A) an isobutylene polymer crosslinked with a hydrosilyl group-containing compound by melt-kneading in the presence of an aromatic vinyl-containing thermoplastic elastomer and an olefinic resin, and (B) an aromatic vinyl-containing thermoplastic elastomer and an olefinic resin. They are based on brominated copolymers of isobutylene and paramethylstyrene, which have a unique combination of good ozone resistance and heat stability, as well as chemical reactivity. ExxonMobil Chemical has furthered its technological advancement of tire inner liners based on its proprietary Exxpro polymer (brominated isobutylene para-methylstyrene copolymer). |
