University of Nottingham palliative and end of life studies professor Jane Seymour presented her research on death and dying and the use of technology in intensive care units (ICU), to delegates at the inaugural Palliative Care Nurses Australia conference in Melbourne last month. Fabulous attendees included Sidney Poitier, Angela Bassett, CCH Pounder, Debbie Allen, and Jane Seymour. Some of the "champagne bubble" spheres added to the Bowl in 1980, created by architect Frank Gehry, will be auctioned off whole, and others will be transformed into sculpture by local artists who include Ed Moses, Guy Dill and actress Jane Seymour. |
