Santa Clarita Valley Jaycees: Members of the local Jaycees have placed boxes in businesses encouraging people to donate new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages through Dec.
He served on the boards of Kiwanis International San Jose, the Volunteers of America, the Visiting Nurses Association, the Junior Jaycees, and was treasurer of the Los Altos Lutheran Church, as well as chairman of the finance committee for Foothills Congregational Church.
He has distinguished himself in many other ways: first as a young relief worker in Africa dispensing food aid during famines, then later as a National Jaycee Outstanding Young Farmer, to name a few.
