Byline: ANI London, November 9 (ANI): Reports indicate that the hidden cost of Britain's new generation of nuclear power could be the destruction of the Kalahari desert in Namibia and millions of tonnes of extra greenhouse gas emissions a year.
Meerkats are natives of Africa's Kalahari Desert, but can now also be found at a pet shop with a difference in Ashington.
It turns out that Hoodia is one of the only plants in the world that has such a capability and as a result many companies have flocked to the Kalahari Desert to extract it for their products.
