Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Keelung is a 1,000-bed hospital. Three missiles were launched on target areas just twenty nautical mi les from Keelung, Taiwan's second busiest seaport and just offshore from the harbor of Kaohsiung, the third largest container port in the world. Since the first missile landed just north of the Taiwanese port of Keelung, China has vilified Lee, accusing him of harboring desires for independence and urging Taiwan's voters to reject him in the voting booth. |
