Kha·tan·ga  (k-tängg, -tng-, ä-tän-)
A river, about 1,150 km (715 mi) long, of north-central Russia flowing southeast then north to the Khatanga Gulf, an arm of the Laptev Sea.

The twoSubhas Tantubai and Tarit Bandyopadhyayof Galudi and Khatanga villages in the backward district have refused to accept the cheques issued by the West Bengal government which, Tantubai said, came after a long wait and false job promises, Zeenews reported.
She flies to Khatanga today and home, to be reunited with her family and friends.
