The sleek Honda FCX can reportedly travel 350 miles on five kilograms of hydrogen. Florian Banhart of the University of Mainz in Germany notes that a nuclear-fission bomb or reactor requires a critical mass of kilograms of fissionable material--way too much to enclose in a nanotube. The company says in an April 7 release that the result equates to 127 diamonds per 100 kilograms and is much higher than the average of 19. |
