Designed by acclaimed Canadian architect Ron Thom in 1970 and dedicated by Queen Elizabeth II, the cathedral contained "irreplaceable pieces of art," including six intricately woven tapestries contributed by six different communities, from Kitikmeot to Nunavik.
Cementation inked a shareholder agreement in April with the Kitikmeot Corporation of Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, to form Kitikmeot Cementation Mining and Development (KCMD).
Barrow is one of IME's key projects and is comprised of approximately 110,000 acres of mineral claims located 15km south of the tide water community of Kugaaruk in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut.
