This remarkable collection of translations, made by Jerry Glenn, Florian Birkmayer, and Helene and Irene Silverblatt, immediately puts for American poetry-lovers a heretofore unknown teenaged poet in league with Gertrud Kolmar (Dark Soliloquy, 1975) among artists who met their fate at the hands of the Nazi war machine.
Kolmar (2007) characterizes conditions under which investments in the appropriation of goods dominate investments in the appropriation of resources.
