Byline: ANI Washington, September 30 (ANI): A team of palaeontologists and archaeologists, who studied fossil evidence from Australia, Timor, Flores, Java and India, has shown that Komodo Dragons most likely evolved in Australia around 3-4 million years ago and dispersed westward to Indonesia.
There is even gripping but grisly footage of Komodo dragons biting a buffalo with venom then stalking it for three weeks, waiting for it to die before devouring it.
Komodo dragons run fast and eat almost any kind of meat, including dead animals, other Komodo dragons and people who get too close.
