Ko·ror  (kôrôr)
The capital of Palau on the island of Koror in the western Pacific Ocean. From 1921 to 1945 it served as the administrative capital for all the Pacific islands under Japanese mandate. Population: 11,200.

In the past JAL has operated charter flights from main airports in Japan to Alaska (US), Koror (Palau), Prague (Czech Republic), Budapest (Hungary), Ulaan Baatar (Mongolia), Alice Springs (Australia), and from regional airports in Japan to Hawaii, Guam and Macao.
These islands, [approximately equal to ]300 km from the capital of Koror, are difficult to reach, and affected persons required emergency evacuation by boat to Koror for treatment.
Mandara's Palau operations will consist of two facilities in Koror including a spa at the Palau Pacific Resort and a spa at the Nikko Palau Resort.
