Two community future development corporations, Nord-Aski in Hearst and Lake of the Woods Business Incentive Corporation in Kenora, have assisted in administering the Northern Ontario Value-Added Initiative (NOVA). Gold award for service quality and innovation: Durham Region Unemployed Help Centre, Oshawa; and the Sudbury YMCA Employment and Career Services; Silver: Lake of the Woods Employment Action Project Inc. The tour begins July 9 in Kenora with a dinner cruise on Lake of the Woods hosted by the dean of Keewatin. |
