British writer and anthropologist who is best known for his fairy tales, including The Blue Fairy Book (1889).

Lang, Fritz 1890-1976.
Austrian-born American filmmaker. He made Metropolis (1927), M (1931), and a number of other expressionist films before fleeing to Hollywood from Nazi Germany. His American films include Fury (1936) and The Ministry of Fear (1944).
