Sarkozy saw the visit of the French Minister of State for Transport Affairs to Damascus and Latakia as opening new horizons for cooperation in marine and land transport, pointing out that French Minister of Economy Christine Lagrade will visit Syria later this year to discuss economic and trade exchange, counting on opening the office of the French Development Agency in Damascus in deepening ties.
