The rectangular GND filter is placed in a slotted holder screwed onto the lens filter ring and can be used for single image landscapes as well as action shots to "hold back" the sky to allow a better exposure of the foreground.
Multiple paintings can be illuminated by adjusting the lens filter for a wider beam spread.
