The Lohan incident, coming in the wake of more risky paparazzi behavior, has triggered an inquiry by Los Angeles police and prosecutors into whether photo agencies are liable for the conduct of their lensmen.
Attendees included a who's who of San Diego Bowl Barneys, including Thrasher lensmen Michael Burnett and Rhino, and pensman Andy Harris.
Even the earliest known examples of the genre were contrived; American Civil War lensmen like Matthew Brady and Alexander Gardner weren't above scattering a few cannonballs or moving bodies to more dramatic settings.
