The teenager was travelling home from a night out at the cinema in Lifford when the car he was driving collided with another vehicle minutes from his home.
Apart from the regular Sunday fixtures at Lifford and Clonmel, there is also a rare matinee meeting at Galway (2pm) and then the much awaited reopening of Kilkenny in the evening.
The 45-year-old was taken to hospital early yesterday after he was found slumped on the pavement in Lifford Lane, Kings Norton.
