Yet why don't, say, Louise Nevelson and Bradley Walker Tomlin (let alone the gay Cadmus-Tooker-French group) get a mention, too?
It has more than 3,000 works by women through the ages, from a painting by the 17th-century Italian painter Elisabetta Sirani to contemporary paintings and sculpture by Louise Bourgeois and Louise Nevelson.
