110) For example, Loxitane is an antipsychotic whose side effects frequently include neuromuscular reactions such as tremors, rigidity, excessive salivation, and akathisia (motor restlessness) and other Parkinsonian symptoms.
Flyers, brochures and other materials promoting Loxitane (loxapine) were declared false and misleading because of side-effect and effectiveness comparisons of anti-psychotics without ad-equate evidence, risk information that was minimized or absent and representations of a mechanism of action that is not yet established.
