Magnetic azimuth

an arc of the horizon, intercepted between the vertical circle passing through any object and the magnetic meridian. This is found by observing the object with an azimuth compass.

The system provides aircraft pitch, roll, and yaw information and uses a three-axis magnetic azimuth detector to derive aircraft heading.
The new upgrade kit will replace the decades old Radar Video Indicator, Radar Control Indicator, Inertial Navigation System (INS), and INS Adapter and Magnetic Azimuth Indicator, resulting in substantial repair cost savings on these obsolescent items.
