The first is Makrolon FR7087, said to be "the first clear thermoplastic to meet UL 94-5VA at 3-mm thickness.
Polycarbonate - Caliber or Makrolon or lexan (PC) Polycarbonates are a particular group of thermoplastic polymers.
The animals were housed in Makrolon cages (45 cm long x 35 cm high x 20 cm wide) three per cage, in a regulated environment (21 [+ or -] 1 [degrees]C; 50-55% relative humidity; 12/12h light/dark cycle, lights on at 07:00 h), with free access to food and water.
