The first in the series, Kolsch, is made with a blend of Pilsener and Kolsch malts from the Global Malt cooperative (a cooperative of 3 German Maltsters with a combined six maltings headquartered in Osthofen) and a small percentage of Caramalz from the Weyermann maltings in Bamberg.
For me, conversions have always appeared the cooler, trendier option so I was delighted when I was given the chance to stay in Maltings Place, a development of warehouse conversions near London Bridge.
