Tsve·ta·e·va  (tsvy-täy-v), Marina Ivanovna 1892-1941.
Russian poet whose work, including Evening Album (1910) and "The Swans' Camp" (published in 1957), is distinctive for its powerful rhythms and lyrical directness. She lived in exile after 1922 but returned to the Soviet Union in 1939, committing suicide two years later.

It took place at the Marina Tsvetaeva Museum--she was one of the great 20th Century poets of Russia.
