Jean Charles' parents, Maria and Matozinhos de Menezes, living in Gonzaga in southeastern Brazil, were angered by the reports that no one would face criminal charges.
Mrs de Menezes laid flowers on the spot and today she and husband Matozinhos da Silva, 66, will see their son's last moments on CCTV footage.
Jean Charles' father Matozinhos Otone Da Silva said: "No father in the world should feel the loss of their son and particularly in this way.
