I was rather partial to that theory until Jean-Pierre Bardet, chairman of University of Southern California's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and director of USC's Center on Megacities, came up with a better one.
Byline: ANI Washington, August 19 (ANI): In a new scientific model, researchers have compared megacities to living, breathing organisms to foster a deep new understanding of how poor air quality in megacities can harm residents, people living far downwind, and also play a major role in global climate change.
What to Visit Some of the most visited places in Brazil are Sao Paolo, Rio de Janeiro (the two megacities on the south-east coast), Fernando de Noronha Island, the city of Salvador in the northeast and the colonial towns of Olinda and Ouro Preto.
