Me`niere's´ dis`ease´
1.(Med.) A disease characterized by deafness and vertigo, resulting in incoordination of movement. It is supposed to depend upon a morbid condition of the semicircular canals of the internal ear. Named after Ménière, a French physician.

Tinnitus Can Be Caused By Meniere's Disease - Is a rare disorder that causes the person trouble with balance, vertigo and Tinnitus.
There are many different causes of tinnitus and it is often linked to loud noise, hearing loss, ear or head injuries, ear wax, ear infections, Meniere's Disease, emotional stress and anxiety or as a side effect of medication.
Preliminary work has also been carried out on the use of vaptans for treating glaucoma, Meniere's disease - a disorder affecting balance - brain haemorrhage and small-cell cancer.
