He appeared in The Goon Show (with Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe; BBC Radio, 1952-60) and his films include Postman's Knock (1962), Adolf Hitler, My Part in his Downfall (1972), The Three Musketeers (1974), The Last Remake of Beau Geste (1977), and Yellowbeard (1982)
