The company said that the E-Link 1000EXR, based on 70/80 GHz millimetre wave radio technology, delivers a 3-times improvement in link budget over all competing 70/80 GHz e-band products.
Mr Darling admitted as much yesterday when he announced plans to test millimetre wave scanners at London's Paddington in the New Year.
