Successful fly patterns have been very mixed along with the methods, but Montana, Muddler Minnow, Minkie, Daddy Longlegs, Buzzer and Diawl Bach are all catching.
Fly anglers were generally restricted to the south shore with teams of small black wet patterns taking the majority of fish, although one angler enjoyed success with a Muddler Minnow drawn slowly through the waves.
One of those will be a 20th anniversary NW Fly Tyers & Fly Fishing Expo poster, around which muddler minnow flies crafted by Nelson and several other participating tyers will be mounted.
