9 (ANI): Western military commanders in Afghanistan are considering a radical shift in policy that would see British and US forces conduct a tactical pull-out from most of northern Helmand, including the town of Musa Qala.
Abdul Ghaffar, the son of Musa Qala district chief Abdul Salam, also commander of a 100-men police force, was killed in a landmine explosion in Shah Karez area of the district last night.
The story rotates around Musa (Nadir Saribacak), a shy young man from Ankara who takes a job as muezzin (the fellow who performs the mosque's call to prayer) in Galata, the Asian side of Istanbul.
