Mus·ke·gon  (m-skgn)
A city of southwest Michigan west-northwest of Grand Rapids at the mouth of the Muskegon River, which flows about 365 km (227 mi) from west-central Michigan southwest to Lake Michigan. The city was founded on the site of a fur-trading post established c. 1810. Population: 39,600.
